Strongest When United

This week our teacher gave us a class activity to test our unity and cooperation with each other. Each of us had an index card, written on it the nth term of an arithmetic sequence and an arithmetic sequence. The activity is like a domino, we will find the nth term of the sequence on the other index card and we will find the sequences that matches the nth term of others. We must form a closed figure within 8 minutes to win the game. We had a hard time finding the answer in other's index card because all of us are shouting for the answer that resulted to poor communication. But we still managed to form a rectangle and finish the activity in 7 minutes. When our teacher checked our answer, we had one mistake. We didn't know that there was a pattern in the nth terms. The first term of the nth term starts with 1 then 2 until 33. Our teacher still commended our unity & cooperation with each other. She said that we must trust each others in activities like these to build a stronger unity of the class.

The next day we had a quiz about arithmetic sequence. It was just easy except for the function past. I only got 15 because of the function part and one question that I carelessly added instead of subtracting. But I will use this as an inspiration to study smarter in math.

Failure Due To Being Selfish

It was first Wednesday of the month. We did an activity about sequences. The rules of the activity is that the other groups will answer the 10 questions that we prepared. Their score will ours and our score will be their score. It was really fun and exciting yet I felt pity on the other group. I also think that some are sad because of their scores. I didn't expect that I can enjoy math while learning new things from it. But the most valuable lesson I learned is that don't do to others what you don't what to happen to you. All of us wanted to have excellent grades to the extent that we put others in a tough situation so that they will not surpass our rank. As a result, most of us realized that being greedy will not take you to success but it will drag you down failure. So the key is to build teamwork and camaraderie to that everyone will be better than before.
