Tragic Week

This week was very depressing and disappointing for me since there is something that I planned for two weeks that did not happened. It was very sad, heartbreaking and painful in the chest because I got the worst first impression from someone very significant.

Monday. We just discussed a topic about the basics of percentiles, deciles and quartiles. Harold was the one asked by Mam Nicole to teach the topic and I think he taught it a difficult way so at first we did not understand it but after a while he tried to teach it in a simpler way so that everyone would understand and luckily all of us understood it.

Tuesday. We had a quiz again about statistics even if its not Thursday because Mam said that all of us got a low score on the last quiz. So basically, Mam gave us a quiz so that we could have a chance to get a better score than before.

Tuesday was also Valentines Day as well as my friend's birthday, Rene. I might not able to give valentines stuff like flowers, chocolates and cakes to my special someone that day but at least I always give her something not everyone could give. I always give her something more worth than diamonds. I always give her something money can't buy which is the most important thing in this world. I know that if she's reading this she knows what I always give her.

Wednesday. I not sure if we had classes that day because I remember that Mam Nicole was not around. Maybe Harold was the one who taught the lesson. I can't really remember it.

Thursday. Harold just discussed a topic again because Mam Nicole was busy reviewing the quizzers for the MTAP the next day. This day was also was the worst day of my February so far because unexpected and tragic happened to me.

Friday. We had no classes because it was contest day of MTAP and Mam Nicole accompanied the quizzers so basically, it was a free day for us. By the way, Congratulations to Rene and Aleja for making it to the next level. The whole school is proud to both of you. =)

P.S I hope that I will be given a second chance. I promise that I will not disappoint you again. Never again.

Sleepless Nights

It’s been a very busy sleepless week. A lot of requirements were given simultaneously in every subjects but despite the busy week, a bunch of sweet and sour things recently happened in my life.

Monday. We had a lecture about percentiles. It was fun understanding the topic because it was just a piece of cake. We became more interested in it when we realized that we can use it in our everyday lives. It’s quite a funny thing because that is something that doesn’t happen every day in our math class. We can use it to determine whether our score in our quiz is above or below the average score and how far or how near it is the from the mode score by just identifying the mean and the standard deviation of all the scores.

Tuesday. We only had a seat work about percentiles and it was an easy one although it takes a while to finish the test.

Wednesday. We’re very lucky because Mam Nicole gave it as a free day so that we would have time to review for the very long statistics test the next day which necessarily needs practice to avoid mistakes due to carelessness.

Thursday. It was quiz day. I think I will have a low score because I didn’t finish the number 2 and 3 which are 45 points in total. I was quite slow answering the test I was thinking if my interval in the last number is correct and it took me 10 minutes to think of that which largely consumed my time. Luckily, I was the only one correct on the table in the last number but that doesn’t matter to me anymore because I know I will got a low score and being the only correct in the last number won’t change that. Still, I’m happy because I got it right and my precious 10 minutes was not wasted because it was worth a try.

Friday. We have no math classes. By the way, I congratulate our teacher, Mam Nicole, Rene, Aleja and Harold for bringing home the glory to our school. We are proud of achievement. It’s a great thing for getting a 4th place in a first time statistics contest. Congratulations again. =)

That all that happened. I’m delighted that were now okay and glad again having each other’s company. You know who you are and I’m looking forward in making unforgettable memories with you. You’re the most precious and greatest person that I have. I’m looking forward for spending the best day of my life with you. Bye for now. See you soon.

Lucky

This week was splendid, amazing and extraordinary.

Monday was card giving day. I was quite nervous at my grade in math because I know that I got a failing grade on almost all of the quizzes. This is because I'm not good at probability and had a little difficulty on analyzing tricky problems. But it turns out my grade was not bad at all and it's what I deserve. It's also the mode of all of the scores that we got. In the end, I was satisfied with what I deserved. Maybe I'll just try my best this last grading to improve my grades and I believe that come back is real.

Tuesday was just a seatwork day. The test comprises of two parts which both tell us construct a frequency distribution table. I spend most of my time checking my answers in the first part to the point that i only have 10 mins to answer 2nd test. Then when the results are released I got a low score because I'm too slow. Maybe it's just that I don't use to construct statistical tables.

Wednesday was just seatwork day again. The test was too long and the values are too big so it's quite hard to count the frequency in each interval. Thanks to Mam Nicole because she gave us until 12:45 to finish the test. I hope I will have a high score because I already triple checked my answer and I think it's all correct.

This day was also memorable for me since my special someone didn't take me for granted. She gave importance for what we have. She apologized for she had offended me a little bit. And I'm very thankful for that.

Thursday was a free day. We are all very lucky because we had no quiz. I cannot quite recall what happened but one thing is for sure that day was a great one for we had time to forget our stress in doing a lot of school works even in a short span of time. Thanks Mam Nicole.

Fri was game day. We played touching runner and it was enjoyed by everyone even though it's tiring. It was worth the exhaustion. Even if I had a hard time thinking of way to save Caesar without being caught by the other members. Luckily before the game ends, an idea unexpectedly popped in my head. First, I was chatting with the other group while preparing to execute my plan. Then a minute before the game ends I began to make my move, I ran in between the two poles so that they will will be able to catch me then I tapped Caesar with a game ending save. I was was happy because I was able to save him all my wit, speed and agility.

That's all that that happened this week. It was a tiring one but it's worth it. See you again soon. Bye for now.
