There is no such thing as free lunch. Everything has its respective costs.
We had classes no on Monday because it was National Heroes Day which is a holiday.
Then Tuesday, we just discussed about the difference between polynomial functions & polynomial equation. We also had a simple recap lecture about finding the zeroes of a polynomial equation and a basic overview on the theorems involving te zeroes of a polynomial equation.
After that, Wednesday, as we expected is that we will be having a recitation on the theorems but things doesn't happen in our lives the way we planned it. So, we were given an activity to answer in the book by pair. It was just finding the factors of a polynomial equation using any method. At first, the question was still easy so we used factoring then we struggled answering the last 5 questions and we don't know what to do so I decided to use factoring by grouping because I think Oyi doesn't know how to solve large degree polynomials. Then after we checked the activity, we only got 45 out of 50.
It was only at the end that I realized that we must had used synthetic division which is I am very good at, to answer the questions more quickly and accurrately.
Sometimes in life, the things that are very important by which you're best at are the ones that are easily forgotten" Just like one of my friends by which "Kung sino pa yung napakahalaga sa'yo yun pa yung unang-unang mang-iiwan at magbabaon ng inyong pagsasama sa limot." I don't say hugot lines that often, I was just very depressed of my performance and critical thinking skills.
Then Thursday was a free day because Mam Nicole had a seminar.
At the last weekday, Friday, there was a math teacher from OCNHS who had a demo teaching about the basics of Analytic Geometry which is a geometry that uses algebre to solve for the missing values. The lesson was just easy. It was just about finding the distance between two points on a cartesian plane. After the lecture, we were given a quiz which is for me very easy because you just have to substitute the values of the two points to the distance formula to find the distance between those points. The teacher was good but he had a little misconception about the term transposition because there is no such thing as that in math, It must be APE or the Addition Property of Equality.
Lastly because we had no classes on the past 2 days, we will be having a recitation about linear this coming Monday.
