Productivity At Its Best

Share it Please
This week had been the busiest yet the most productive one. From the start until the end of the week there had been many school activities like the teacher's day celebration, continuation of our Intrams and DSPC Training.

Meanwhile, we also had been busy inside the classroom for preparing for the unexpected quizzes, seatworks and recitations even though only half of the class is present since the other half is busy having an intensive training for the DSPC.

On the first day of the week was the continuation of our Intrams so we had no classes but this was the day for submission of our math group project so each group have to go to the Math Lab to explain the concept of our final output. After we explained our work, we are individually asked about what grade we think we deserve and gave a reason why. The final verdict was Mam Nicole gave us a 98 out of 100. Yaaay!=)

This day is also allotted for the finals of every game specifically volleyball, basketball and field events. The Yellow Tigers won the volleyball while the Blue Knights won the basketball. After all the games, we all went to the gym to watch the gymnastics and dance sport. Then 10 minutes after the events ended, the final result was announced. The Overall Champion of the Intramurals 2016 with a 22 point deficit against the 2nd place was... (drumrolls) the Green Archers! Whoooo! Congrats to our team specially to Jin and I, the swimmers, who bagged all the gold medals! Whooo!

Then Tuesday was still the continuation of the explanation of our math project as well as the celebration of the Teacher's Day. Every section had surprised their teachers by giving them letters, having a celebration party, singing a song accompanied by a guitar and a beatbox, giving them sweets and flowers or by making a tribute video presentation for them. During the afternoon was the celebration proper held at the gym. Every section or every year level has a representative to sing a song or play an instrument for the teachers. As well as PTA surprised the teachers by giving them gifts based on the number they picked. But that did not ended the celebration. After the presents were given, the whole school together with the teachers and students had a dance battle with each other. The whole school really had so much fun celebrating the very special Teacher's Day.

Then Wednesday, we had no classes because it was Division Level Teacher's Day Celebration.

On the fourth day of the week, Thursday, we had checked the take home seatwork and almost all of us had no units in the first part of the test so we had an automatic 5 points deduction which was very disappointing. And I am very careless in the last part of the test because in number 1  I forgot to write the Pi r2  in the final answer even if there is a Pi r2 in the solution so I only got 1 point. That's just too precious to waste. What an idiot!

We also had a seatwork by pair about inscribed angle & intercepted arc and it was just a piece of cake.

On the last day of the week, we had a game in math. It was called 2 truths and a lie and the game involves saying 2 truths and 1 lie about yourself that others don't know even your friends. The game was started by Mam Nicole and after that she gave a number and whoever has a birthdate on the said number will be the one to speak. All of our answers were hilarious and very funny until we laughed so hard it would sting just like the crazy things you wouldn't expect that we had done.

We all had a difficult time figuring out which one is the truth and which are the lies. At the end of the activity we had learned many things. Mam Nicole told us that everything we see can be deceiving which may lead us to a wrong conclusion  so what we must do is to be very keen, careful and cautious because you will only discover the truth and the true colors of something or someone when you are not around and you are at you're back. She also told us that when you found out that the truth you once believed for a long time was a just a lie, it will be difficult for you to trust that person again because trust is like a mirror, once it's broken, it's never seen again and no matter how hard you try to put it back, the cracks will always show but we also need to take risks because the best way to find out if you can trust somebody is to trust them.
